Are FB fan pages worth it?

i am looking for a new niche to work
want to start creating popualr FB fan pages
are they really worth it?
can u make dcent money from popualr pages (100k+) in "entertaining" niche? or some other niche?

They're worth it to advertise after you have a loyal fan base. They're not so easy to make these days because of the spam, but if you can take a popular quote or 'movie' quote/character and make a page about it before anyone else, you're set.
