So I've been growing a Twitter account for about 2 months now and I'm up around 4k+ followers. However when I do mass follows (750-1000) I notice I only get back maybe 150-250. So what I was thinking was if I were to add on 2k-5k fake followers if it would many difference in getting followbacks. The whole idea behind this is if people see an account with 10-20 RT's per tweet @ let's say 8k followers, would they be more willing to interact with the account opposed to the account having only 4k followers? I might just try it but it can be hard sometimes to find good, fake followers for a decent price. Any ideas?

Btw, I have been doing mass favorites, but it's resulted in my account being suspended a couple times. Any help on avoiding this while using this method will also be greatly appreciated.

having more fake followers won't help for that, that is the rate at what normal people follow back. Fake followers are only good for getting over the initial 2k following limit, after that if you want o grow your account with good followers just don't think about it anymore.. just my 2c

First of all when you are mass favoriting make sure you have set some good delays between the favorites.

And yes of course it will help you to get fake followers! Get as many as possible it's always good for social proof. People will follow you faster. Noone will follow a profile with only a few followers.

I have had both good and bad experience with fake followers, the good is, your getting more real followers faster the bad is, you don't get any hit's from the fake followers.

Get some to make your page look better. People will see wow he has 5k followers and is only following 1k people, I should follow him/her!

Ive had good experiences with fake followers. When people see your page without followers they are reluctant to follow you. I bought a little bit of fake followers, and the follows have been alot better.

Fake followers do 2 things:

1) They make your account look more respectable
2) They allow you to follow more people (not just the 2000 cap).

It all depends on how much you're paying and also how long those fake followers will last - Twitter often remove accounts that are being used to fake follow people, so you'll see your account lose those fake followers.

It's a good 'leg up' in the early days until you're on a roll.
