Are External ******** Link Hurt For Our Website SEO?

Hi,

Recently i set all external link on website as ********, is it bad for my SEO?

Because my website got stuck so far.

I'v been doing a lot content audit, adding some backlink from PBN, updating content but it still get stuck.

FYI i always put at least 1 external link for each article for reference purpose.

PBN link will take a while to take full effect.

Getting stuck is about trust and lack of relevance. PBN links are more about power.

To get unstuck you should get links from credible sources and publish more content increasing overall topical relevance.

However, since this is all very recent, you just might move up if you give it some more time.

For the PBN, actually its work great for my website. Then my website got hit by december 2020 google update and got stuck untill now.

The point is at the external link that i set all of them as dofoollow, is it bad for SEO?

For example like when i make a content about reviewing Android game, then i put an download link. The download link is coming from non popular website (such as google play sore).

That shouldn't be a problem. Might actually provide boost since it's their property.

Dec update was mostly about content. Many subsequent updates after that as well.

PBN links still work great.

I feel so desperate, the traffic is drop almost 60%.
