Are .EU Domains easy to rank?

I can buy 2 domains with my key:

xxxkeyword.es

or

keyword.eu

Wich one should i buy? Is Possible to rank an .eu domain in a extremly difficult key?

I dont now but I have not seen any .eu ranking for a competetive term,
I have seen more .biz then .eu but no experience with them

I think that it will be easier to rank if you target European countries. In chrome there is an extension named Google global. So you have different site ranked as number one if you search in UK and USA for the same keyword. But Im not pretty sure to which country this EU is related.

Ok I did a quick research and I can say it will be diffcult to rank. why - because there is not google.eu, you can rank more easily only where google has extensions. de, ie, au, in, etc.

.eu is good i have seen many ranking,but if you target spain only than get a .es

.eu itself can be ranked as easily as with any other non-ccTLD, but if you're just aiming for one market, it's better to go with ccTLD. They get a bit more boost in SE's of that specific country.
