When I was 10 years old I picked up over 5,000 lipsticks in a yard sale for $20. The family owned a kiosk selling beauty supplies but they ran out of business and they got rid of all the lipsticks that had no boxes for cheap. So I picked them up and I knew I can make money on them.
I lived in a not so good neighborhood but I saw opportunities, I went door to door to all the corner stores that sell everything. Like the ones that you can pick up a can of spam and a weave for your girl, and then decide to buy some new sneakers they have in stock. I wholesaled them for cheap, and told them you can sell them to your customers twice the price or more. And a lot of business owners were interested: first reason was because they were amused to see a 10 year old trying to sell cosmetic products to them, and the markup price is 100%-150%. And to them thats a gold mine.
So I had to run back home a lot to supply myself more lipsticks to sell, and that day I made close to $870. Selling each lipstick to corner store owners for $1.50 and they sold them around $3-$4, so both parties were making money.
My mom was so proud of me, and the next morning we woke up with an eviction notice hanging on our front door. And as the 10 year old I was, I gave my mom all the money I made to cover the bill in triumph and joy. My mom bursted in tears and wished me success and prosperity. The next day I met a man that employed 100 employees and required all of them to buy lipstick from me.
So looking back at it I can say the entrepreneur in me was not developed after birth, but it came with the package of birth... or from the impact of the drop made by the doctor when I was born, but who knows
