Are EMDs with dashes in domain less valuable?

I have a domain with 4 dashes, managed to rank it in the top 5 for a handful of quite competetive keywords. It may appear slightly spammy to more web savvy users, but really, the vast majority of people won't think anything different of it. I personally don't think Google value them any less, just make sure your building good quality links to them.

I'm going to agree with homenet above me.

I tend to stay far away from websites with dashes in them because I can just tell they are spam (most of them are). However as we are a small few here compared to the masses that browse the net, I don't think it would be an issue. This is just looking at it.

If you meant which is more valuable in terms of a $ value, the one without dashes is what most people would agree on.

Hey, as long as the information provided by that site is helpful, I could care less about the hyphens.
