Are Doorway Pages Worth It?

Are doorway pages worth it or does the Big G ban make them useless? I am just starting and still trying to get some good profit going. Also, will I get banned by other serps too if I decide to do this?

If you dont..then learn white hat..read the posts/tips here..they are the equal of many of the ebooks for sale..
Get a cheap domain host..and dip your toes..
