Are crypto edge add-ons trustworthy ?

Depends on the addon. Microsoft Edge is based on Chromium. The apps you talk about are available on most browsers. Chromium has built in protection features, but hackers will always find new exploits.

If you trust the addon developer, you should be safe. Just don't sign unknown transactions.

Microsoft Edge add-ons can be risky and especially those offering wallet management or mining features. Some may steal private keys or track your browsing activity. It's better to install add-ons from reputable developers.

Honestly, nothing is "trustworthy" until you go in and check out the code yourself or from a huge reputable company but even then that's a risk you are willing to take.
getting feedback from the world wide webz is what puts you at risk.
this is IM for god sakes, half of the people here buy fake positive reviews.

You are very right. When it comes to wallet management features and addons, just avoid it.

Most of 'em just front-ends for APIs, but still, always sandbox that stuff.
