Are cryptocurrency Microsoft edge add-ons trustworthy, or should I be concerned about security risks when using them?

Depends on the addon. Microsoft Edge is based on Chromium. The apps you talk about are available on most browsers. Chromium has built in protection features, but hackers will always find new exploits.

If you trust the addon developer, you should be safe. Just don't sign unknown transactions.

Honestly, nothing is "trustworthy" until you go in and check out the code yourself or from a huge reputable company but even then that's a risk you are willing to take.
getting feedback from the world wide webz is what puts you at risk.
this is IM for god sakes, half of the people here buy fake positive reviews.

You are very right. When it comes to wallet management features and addons, just avoid it.
