Hi guys,
got several blogs (white/black, adsense/affiliate) and never considered core vitals.

My blogs use generatepress, they're fast, I thought this was enough.

Seems with last update I'm losing a little of traffic, not a lot, but it is happening.

I checked GSC and all my pages are yellow. Google speed tools says I got 25 speed mobile and 85 speed desktop.

Is it correct to worry about those core vitals? What actions should I start?

25 for mobile seems very low, so I would focus on this since it can really impact your conversions/results. But from a SEO point of view, I wouldn't invest too much money on the CWV because I don't think that it will have such a big impact on the search results. Google wants to provide the best answer to its users, so the speed of a site doesn't mean that it will provide great content. I would rather focus on my content and linkbuilding activity, while making sure that the basic are respected in term of Site Speed: You can easily improve this with plugins such as WPRocket on WP

I've seen sites with horrible "vitals" being ranked extremely high and well, so take those recommendations with a grain of salt. Yes, they're important and can help you out in terms of rankings, but they're just yet another "part" of a much bigger puzzle.

My websites are all on generatepess and with a reduced set of plugins. So they are really fast in the UX.

But the fact that I don't use neither cache plugins make bad statistics on performance's audits.

I think I'm gonna try with some plugins, but seems the best ones (wprocket and fastest cache) are both premium....

They are premium but quality won't come free. If you have several websites, I assume you are already making some money, so think of how this investment could help you make even more money. WPRocket is pretty cheap for what it does, and you have several offers.

Really true. Buy the plugin is not a issue. What I'd like is to find a plugin that integrate well with my theme and not too cluttered, like those plugins seem to me....

Try to tweak mobile page score to 60-70 at least
AMP plugin will help.

I'd like to stay away from AMP and CDNs.

Interested in find some plugin that is able to increase core vitals alone.
