Hey everyone,
I’ve noticed that comments seem to carry more weight than likes on most platforms now. A post with fewer likes but strong conversations often performs better than a highly liked post with no discussion.

Do you focus more on encouraging comments, or is engagement just engagement to you?

Interested to hear your approach.

Comments definitely seem to signal stronger engagement; posts that spark conversation usually get pushed further than ones with just passive likes.

Also comments work as trendsetting for your ad. We use comments under our ads for long time - it works.

Yes comments are more important than likes now.
Comments = Strong engagement signal

Comments provide a higher level of engagement, usefulness, and information. So yes, they are more important than likes.

Yes comments are definitely more important than likes, and if it's by old accounts who comment rarely it's even more worth. Of course likes are also important but only if it's maybe by a known person with a lot of followers.

Yes in many cases, comments are now more important than likes on social media.

Comments definitely seem to boost reach more than likes. I usually focus on sparking conversations now. It feels more natural and helps the post stay alive longer.

Comments definitely matter more these days :smirk: They show real engagement and boost reach. I focus on sparking discussions rather than chasing likes ;) :cool:
