Are closed BSTs removed after a certain time?

The upgrades of the market place are out and they look great but it did remind me of one suggestion or question that I've had for a while.

Do threads that have been closed for a certain amount of time get deleted? I've come across many that were closed a while ago and others where the OP has actually stated that the service will not be continuing in the future.

For example here: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...hore-hosting-20-review-discounts-47.html#2077

ExtraWinner states his service is over for good. Does he get to keep his thread incase he changes his mind because he paid the $30 or are they just left?

It's just a suggestion to try and keep the marketplace, which is getting new threads everyday, easy to navigate and free from unnecessary threads which hide the live ones.

Maybe if not active for a year they could be deleted or if the BST owners confirms they will not be returning.

i no what you mean i reported 3/4 threads in the proxy section
1/2 got locked but 1/2 remain open even though the thread
owners havnt used them in 2 - 4 yrs each.

noobs still post on them but open they stay. all we can do is
report the threads, the rest is upto the mods

I don't think the threads will be removed, except the mods feel it's necessary.

I think they get buried anyway since they are closed so no new replies.

Sorry I hadn't realised anyone had replied. +1 from the notification for replies in you thread. ANYWAY..

Although you'd think that Scripteen, proxygo is right. New members that don't bother to read the date of the last post, which is generally over a year ago, post on the thread and then some guy will come along and post a facepalm meme and then another guy will say "Well done for bumping a two year old thread" and it's just a vicious circle because obviously by posting "Don't bump this thread" you're bumping it.

We currently don't delete threads, they can be closed if the op requests.

but what if the sales thread owner has been gone from bhw 2-4 yrs
isnt that reason enough to lock it to stop noobs bumping threads
2-4 yrs dead.
