Are building Amazon sites still profitable?

Hello guys! I began trying to make a little side cash online and joined BHW back in 2011. In 2012 I was making Adsense Micro Niche sites and also Amazon sites, always focusing on keywords that I could grab an open .com domain name for. I had many flops, but did have an amazon site that did well and make me about $100 a month on average. I got excited and began writing more and more articles, creating more and more sites. Eventually my marriage hit a rough spot because my wife was upset I spent way to much time on the computer so I walked away from the micro niche site world... Fast forward 4 years, the marriage didnt work out anyway and I wish that I would have never left, I now feel like I have so much to learn all over again! Are Amazon sites still a decent way to go? I woulnt ask for anything to be spoon fed to me I know that is a huge pet peeve for many forum members, but any suggestions or just pointing in a general direction would be greatly appreciated!

It can be profitable. Don't spread yourself too thin though. For me, one good site nurtured well and focusing on one specific product will generate more income than 10 sites with 100 products slapped up within thin content.

Amazon sites are still profitable just look at some journeys and you will see. Also there are some guides about amazon sites, you can find them if you search.

I would rather choose Aliexpress in this aspect. Primary due to the fact that Amazon is a difficult business partners with too many rules. Whereas Aliexpress disregard source of traffic as long as you bring in sales.

Don't do Amazon affiliate. It's not worth it.

Short answer: yes.
Long answer: if you know what you are doing, then yes.

OP, if you remain commited to the cause amazon associates can be very profitable.

Read some amazon thread on Making Money subforum, and read some Journeys about amazon.

Lots of people still making full time living doing it.

Definitely still profitable. Like said above, focus on quality not quantity. I had one site with 36 products, and one with 1 product. After a few months i ditched the 36 product site as it was to broad and not converting as well as the i product site.

Yes, still works great if you can get decent traffic to your websites from acceptable sources.
