Are Bought Email Lists Worth It? Need Advice!

It depends on how your campaign goes.
"Quality" lists are rare these days. You just need to have a good skill in outreach and different copy styles.
For website hosting, its definitely a tough niche to work with, but not impossible. You could work with your marketing team to create a promo campaign on discounts or free month, but watch out for scammers too.
Also, a good email campaign should have a good social proof alongside with it. And yes, I'm talking about cold email.

There are lots of spammers on Skype. Plenty of them really selling resold list over and over again. I suggest you run ads targeting your desired audience.

Did you recommend any scraping tool in general? Also, for building a hosting business email list, is LinkedIn a good platform to use, or should I consider scraping from Facebook?

i have millions of emails from several hundred list some scrapped, some purchased and some shared, all of those emails are worth it after cleaning and segmentation
now i have several list by segmentation, it was a long task and cost a lot of money and time the cleaning part but now i am recovering the investment

sure, this is the process i follow
1 after getting the email list (any source), i verify the list using a paid service
2 with the confirmed emails, try to sort them by free emails (gmail, hotmail, etc) and business emails
3 with the free emails i setup several emails campaigns from different niches in general (i keep the ones that receive, open email (VIP) and unsubscribe) and left the ones that did not show anything in another list
4 with the business emails i setup several emails campaigns related to my services with a giveaway if they confirm that they receive the email (i keep the ones that receive, open email (VIP) and unsubscribe) and left the ones that did not show anything in another list
Lots of work and time, as you can see
after that, i will have a couple of segmented list with few emails but with emails that actually convert, that's the key i rather have 100 emails that convey than 10 million emails that nobody knows
then rinse and repeat and PROTECT those emails

Hey. I got a few niched, targeted email lists i scrapped from some subscription based businesses i managed. Its like 300-400k active emails, sorted by the company they were subbed to, and thats it. How do I procede from here ? Im planning to launch a ds store and start marketing it towards its niched email list, but not really sure how to do it. Help me ?
Thanks for the detailed explanation. quick query. I'm thinking of starting with email lists, I', pretty new to them. Don't most of the emails land in spam these days? gmail. outlook etc. seem have pretty strong spam filters.

How do you use scrapebox for scraping LInkedin ?
I did , it only shows how to check if a website has linkedin profile mentioned or not, using the SB social plugin. You cannot scrape LinkedIn data

as of February 2024, I am focusing on business emails, targeting personal emails like gmail, hotmail and yahoo is a waste of resources and domains.
if anyone wants to try just do this exercise: get a new domain, create an email and try to send an email to any gamil or hotmail, good luck

Phantombuster is another alternative that you can try.
99% times it is useless. But you might find a jackpot 1 % time. Also, it is important to send emails successfully and make them land in inbox.
