Hi everyone,
What I have in mind is promoting a YouTube video using the backlinks which Scrapebox can create with its Blog commenting ability.
Will this work? are blog comment backlinks effective like this?
Thanks

I am also waiting for gurus to respond to this post.

Scrapebox backlinks are just shitty and spammy so they won't be fruitful as far as I know, they might work as 2nd tier, however you can go with high TF ******** blog comments with LOW OBL they will help you to rank not high but you will get results....

I use them as tier 2 links or tier 1 without abuse of anchor text and work well; of course they doesn't work for keywords with high competition.

How about with High competition Keywords as Absan mentioned?

A key point with just about any link building strategy is to vary your link building methods. My point was don't not use comment links because many people miss use a particular tool and subsequently get bad results. The best results are had when RESPONSIBLE action is taken.

Blatantly not true. With automation tools like Scrapebox, and most others the effectiveness of the links you build comes down to HOW the USER uses them.

Blog commenting can be VERY effective, depending on how and where it's done.
I couldn't agree more. So many people pick up a tool and use it 1 way and blame the tool when they don't get the desired result. The tool is only as good as its master.

That said you can't build a house with a hammer alone, Scrapebox is a irreplaceable tool to have, but its not the ONLY tool you need to rank a site and make money online. But knowledge of how to use the tool supersedes the tool its self of course.

Very. Just not the spammy kind. If you're using links that have thousands of comments, then just quit. Your website isn't going to last long, and you'd be better off doing something else. :)

What is OBL?

This is true, low obl is the most important factor.

Please share how to use them effectively.

OBL is a factor, the problem: It's dynamic. That's one of the reasons why I don't really like Scrapebox links, because if one can automate it, many can automate it. A OBL 10 link can become an OBL 1000 link quickly and you have zero control about it.

can you explain me how can i use ?

Exactly. I use blog comments on my last tier to make sure my contextuals links have some inbound links.

As you said anyone can post to these pages, I filter out my blog comments by DA/PA so I'm only hitting the pages with some link juice.

At the end of the day spam is spam.
