I always prefer to buy aged domains without any drops in registration history. Actual age with the first date of domain registration should be reflected upon the whois check. Also, the domain should have good keywords, clean history, and some SEO authority.
I have found one guy on Fiverr who is providing quality aged domains for very cheap prices as compared to many available marketplaces.
When I purchase a couple of 20+ years old decent .com domains and the results were amazing, all posts were indexed within 17 hours without hiring an expert or buying any indexing service.
I believe a good keyword-aged domain without hyphens, numbers, and any spam history, worth at least 3X the regular domain renewal costs.
If the domain is 22 years old, I would prefer to buy it for $15 X 3 X 22 = $990 USD
