Are Adwords/Adsense worth it?

If my blog is primarily going to be using pay per sale links, would mixing in adwords/adsense links even be worth the time, to mix it up from people just seeing a blatant advertisement when they click one of my affiliate links?

You would be mixing in adsense, because that is what publishers use. Advertisers use adwords.

It depends, what is your EPC for your affiliate offers? If you can make more per click with adsense then you either need to pre-sell your affiliate offer better or throw adsense in there.

Well I'm actually just doing research before I set everything up so I haven't obtained any affiliate offers. Like you said I may want to focus on really getting traffic to my pps affiliates, but I guess I'm wondering if it would be worth the time to set up adsense, on top of already doing well with pps affiliates. For a beginner like myself I'm guessing probably not. Thank's for your opinion!
