So in 2010 I started a blogspot that I just posted random personal stuff about sports and video games on..I got adsense access and then left it to be for a couple years without really touching it.
In 2015, I started archiving news articles and cut/pasting forum posts and never really thought anything about keywords, rankings, SEO or any of that....i just continued to cut and paste articles while still getting adsense $$$.
so since 2010 i've made like 400 bucks off of adsense, already received the payments ect and started researching about starting new niche blogs and new farms of content but all this research has me having some questions
constantly, I see people post stuff like "if you do nothing but cut and paste, adsense will ban you"
Am I lucky that it just hasn't happened to me yet? Or are archives actual viable things to put ads on?
For awhile I stuck to grabbing reddit posts that would purge off their website so it couldn't be traced back, but said fuck it and go all out and cut and paste crap from my local newspaper.
Long story short in question mode: are heaps of cut and pasted texts a acceptable practice under the guise of "archiving" them?
