April to September [$$$] Journey

I'm currently on a 5 month break with nothing of free time infront of me; free time that I will largely dedicate to making money through IM'ing.
I have experience with both webdesign and SEO so this Journey will both be online and offline. Since I sold all my sites in December I will also be starting from scratch, on a shoe-string budget.


Offline: Marketing/Webdesign

The offline part will be funding everything in short term. I'm currently running a service website and have dropped some money on advertising and adwords. I'm not a real webdesigner, I just got decent at modding themeforest themes and people seem to like my work. Depending on the package I profit ? 300 - 600 on a website or webshop, i'll be taking 20% of that income for article writing and long term SEO efforts. I have done this last summer and made a few quick bucks, hopefully this time it will just go as smooth. Out of experience the offline part has a quick turnaround, I only need one or two clients a month to, and about 2 clients in the whole next 5 months to fund this whole journey.

Online: Amazon Sites

Before I quit and sold my sites around december (to busy with school and needed cash) I was making a 100$-200$ /monthly from just a single amazon site, and a few dollars daily here and there from smaller ones. I just started to understand amazon at that point and will pick it up where I left it at 5 months ago. The guy I sold the sites to removed all the content, put up his own and now the sites are de-indexed, so I will be going for my main keyword again. And all the amazon threads in the last few weeks have made me hungry again .

-> Both these sites are still in the under construction stage. They will go online latest tommorow, then I will start some press releases and build social signals over the next 3-4 weeks. After that i'll put in a two tiered campaign with about 5000 properties in total and let it drip over 30 days, repeat it with some downscaling to keep up consistently over the next 5 months. Allright; another day another dollar!

I'm set back another 25$ after ordering 5 quality article reviews.

Since the niche I am in has gotten much more competitive than the last time I was ranking it I feel like this is what's needed to get to page one.
Just take a look at my old ranking statistics with poor self written content and overall spammy SEO before I sold the site:

And even then it made me 100-200$ monthly

My SEO mainly consisted out of blasting WEB 2.0, thousands of Bookmarks and SB Blasting; it was tiered, but very messy.
Once I get these articles the site will be done and I will move on from it doing slow and organized SEO and hopefully it will rank over the summer.

I will post more about the SEO plan once I have it worked out on paper. The ranks for my site will be tracked daily and I will post progress every week of them.

I will work on Domain 2 today, set up the theme, pictures, make youtube accounts and order a few more articles which will cost me about $30.
Once I am done with that I will mail 30 businesses for a redesign and website design, I am creating a special landing page for this, hopefully i'll profit!

I also have picked out 3 more keywords, but before I decide whether I get into that niche I will do some more research.

Today was a great day!

Yesterday I send out 30 mails to local businesses, mostly restaurants with bad designed websites and no SEO. Just 20 minutes ago I got a call from a Indian restaurant in my city, that does not only want a website but a full SEO campaign (Adwords, On-Page, Off-Page, Places) and also some marketing consulting. A service that will put me at a profit of about € 600 - € 800. I have an appointment there tomorrow, currently working on a few mock-ups, the owner sounded very enthusiastic when I mentioned my price range because he has been paying € 1000 a year for his current website since 2003 which has not been updated since and is pretty shitty.

As for my domains:

Domain 1:

The site is done and ready, all content has been placed and just waiting for a few more articles from writers. I already have had about 10 visitors for long tail KW's and 1 sale for a unrelated amazon product, but the sale was only for $3,33... I have ordered paid press releases which will be done in the next 5 days and get a guaranteed google news listing. There are currently 6 videos of products on youtube that link back to my reviews and I already started to get some views. The next thing I am doing is 10x Manual WEB 2.0 creating with self written articles (3x per property), going to take me the whole weekend and up to a week depending on how much work there will be in the website.

Domain 2:

Website is done with dummy content and set as "under construction" so google will not pick up duplicate lorem ipsum. All pictures are there, titles, videos and so on, just waiting for content writers to deliver articles to me and then the site will go through the same process as domain 1. I will do some split testing to see what method works better.

Also, what kind of website did you use to get into Amazon affiliate?

The offline web design is some real hustle. If you can scale the lead generation part, you can hire a web designer online on the cheap.If you know seo, you can rank local sites and sell to local businesses
