Hey! Y Combinator has opened applications, anyone here has applied to it? What was the outcome?

Scaling business right now and love the idea to get VC funding

Why is that?
You give up control of your buiness in return for some $ and it becomes a job. So, unless you really need the money to succeed you are better self funding.

From your profile your business seems to be built around an influencer database and mass dm. That does not need a lot of cash to succeed.

I'm interested in becoming an angel investor. How did you go about it and how have it been so far.

You need plenty of spare cash :)

I look for viable businesses that can 10x my investment.

Feel free to pm me and we can chat in more detail.

That right here is the exact reason I have never applied or contacted any investor. I could easily scale my business with more cash. Right now its all self funded, I am 100% in control as the only shareholder of my company, but it also takes way longer to scale because of the cashflow.

The one exception is skills.

No VC's come with any skills, other than raising money, which can help grow you business.

Pick the right angel investor and they can come with skills that far outweigh the value of any investment.
