Applying for AdSense with GDPR in effect?

As all of you probably know by now that GDPR comes into effect tomorrow, and that has raised a lot of questions about Google AdSense.

I'm about to apply to Google AdSense with my blog site and want to make sure that I am following all of their guidelines in order to get my blog approved. So far these are the things I've read that my blog must have in order to get approved for AdSense.

*Privacy Policy page
*Terms and Conditions page
*Sitemap page
*No duplicate/plagiarized content
*No copyrighted images/videos
*At least 15-20 different articles

I am planning on using a generator for the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions pages, and Yoast SEO for the sitemap. For the images I'm using royalty-free sites such as Unsplash, and Pixabay, and the content will be original.

Now here is where I need help, do I need to have a cookies notification pop-up or any other type of a notification pop-up with GDPR coming into effect? The pop-ups that say "by using our site you agree to the cookies, and the terms" and any other similar notification pop-ups? Are those required?

Also what else does my site need to have in order to get approved to Google Adsense now with GDPR into effect?

Try to use also cookies law, they are plenty plugins. Let the site age a little bit and after apply.

- A plugin for a cookie info bar, linked with a read more for Cookie Policy

What plugin did you use for the cookie info bar?
I need a cookie policy page to link it too as well?

Also how long did it take you to get approved after you first submitted your site for an approval?

- I used Cookie Notice, just want to use simple plugin to not put lots of scripts.
- Google cookie policy generator, then you see this https://cookiepolicygenerator.com/
- It took about 5 - 7 days.

Wordpress by default is GDPR compliance, but you have to make sure your plugins and themes are upgraded to GDPR standard. There are no one size fits all solution for GDPR.
