Hello,

I applied for adsense around 3 weeks ago, below are the details of steps i followed to apply to adsense.
1. I applied using a new gmail account, which was created the same day that i applied for adsense, but its a genuine gmail account i have phone verified it using a new number which is active.
2. Website has over 12 unique posts, with readable articles and each article has copyright free images from pexel with source link attached to the bottom of the post.
3. i have added privacy policy, terms of usage and contact me pages.
4. Theme is aesthetically pleasing and i have designed a decent logo that matches theme design.
5. Its a food blog, with recipe and health related articles. I have also added my food niche pinterest acc, food niche IG account and about me widget to the blog.
6. Domain is 6+ months old.

Its been around 3 weeks since i applied to adsense but still no reply from them, is it normal for them to take this long? do i need to be worried? If you are curious i live in india, i've heard applying for adsense is a bit more hectic if you are applying from india, so far it has proven to be true :P

Unless you get a message saying you were refused - I'd suggest waiting a little more
Usually replies come a faster, but I'm from a different part of the world and cannot comment if it's different in other countries

Normally AdSense will take 2 - 3 days to reply, in some of the case it may take around a month or more. You don't want to worry now.
Even if got rejected also, you can apply again and again. You will get notified through gmail which you used.

Yup, i did, also i highly doubt that google own adsense approval email would ever go in spam :p

I don't think it takes that much time. Have you checked the spam folder too?

Thanks honestly thats quite comforting to know that applying again is always a possibility. said that, it would be best if my application is approved within the first attempt ;)

they will not review it until you add the ad code to your website. Applying for adsense is not enough unless you don't add the ad code.
Me too faced the same issue. Once I add the ad code to my site, they reviewed it within few days.

You should recheck your content. Sometimes they replies very long.

Hey, i did added the code to my site on day one and its still taking so long, thats what has got me worried.

I would retry (re add the code) as there is nothing to lose

True, i'll do it by today itself, will update the thread if it makes any difference for the approval process :) Thanks.

WMEagle69 I applied from Nigeria.

Even if they would have rejected my application it would have been fine, atleast i would have know what i did wrong and could have corrected it, then re-applied, waiting for 3 weeks is worst :p max 1 week is bearable.

I read @HoNeYBiRD comments somewhere on here. He was right. I tried to apply to networks with more professional way. Dear, .... explained as details as possible... Thank you for.... Sorry for my language mistakes. haha. With this method, I got approved even I told them I'm a newbie. It helps me a lot. Maybe it not work with Google Adsense.

Hi @WMEagle69 I've had a similar issue as you're having.

This is how I got them to reply me and start talking before eventually approving my application.

Go to your site header and remove the AdSense codes you were given on registration. Wait for some days, they'll send you a mail saying they couldn't verify you own the site because they couldn't find the code bla bla bla... Just something in this line.

Then you should login on AdSense and reinstate the code and tick the check box that you've fixed the issue.

From here they'll either approve or disapprove depending on the quality of your site.

I've done this at least twice, on one of my sites I reapplied for more than 10 times before being approved and initially I had this issue you're having.

Good luck.

It was longer than month for me.
I applied for adsense and continue to add new unique article every week, boosted some posts to fb to get some traffic....
I had 27 articles 500-700 words each, when I accidentally typed in my website in browser and saw Adsense ads!
It took me more than one month.
I live in Latvia

So you should continue to work on site, add content and wait wait wait....
