Applications that clients actually want

What does (client) need to go live ? Vps, dedicated server, shared hosting, apple , google account?
You mean for expo apps? If it connects to an api, then the api; otherwise; nothing! Expo hosts the needed files for free.

Yeah, you will need apple and google developer accounts obviously.

With that you might also need a landing page for the app before going live. So, that's one thing to consider.

For ios apps though, you will need a mac machine for uploading the app to app store. There's no way around to this at this moment, as far as I know.

This sounds good. Yes, I know about iOS apps needing mac machine. I released one app using iOS on VMware on my pc. You can also rent mac online for a fraction of cost. One issue there is apple store approval process is far more stringent then google play store.

Well I have a mac now, so I don't care about the alternatives anymore. :p
As for the review process, it was swift (no pun intended) and quick for me. They denied once, but that was totally my fault. After fixing the issue, they approved the app in a day or two.

Yeah, Apple want iOS native functionalities on the app.

What's hot and unsaturated in 2021?
What applications actually goes live, fast?
I guess you are talking about fast implementation? For this, I suggest you work with react native, so you can make good applications, you can use + framework for example expo. What features will be found in your application? By combining firebase with this, you can overcome many difficulties.

Bots in general, automating tedious tasks, thus saving their time.
Yes like a bot to scrape data for a price comparison site. How much they are charging for a custom price comparison site?
