Read about why many devs opt to publish apps on apple store vs playstore and I have done my research on a competitor app, similar to what I'm making generates in a month,on apple store they made 3m usd last month and on playstore they made 600,000usd last month, imma do a deep dive and study how they scaled.

Why do you think it has a big difference in terms of sales? Is it country-specific app?

Google Play is about to clean their entire Store from zombie accounts (accounts which published apps years ago and never signed in again) and Google also made it harder to create Google Play Developer accounts.

So in the future there will be much less accounts and therefore apps (= less competition)

But the primary reason people are switching to Apple is because they are tired of Google's bullshit.

How did you research how much your competitors make?

What's your specific question?

Releasing app on google store is easier than Apple store. It used to be cake walk.
Iphone owners have more purchasing power. So all things equal you are gonna generate more money on Apple store.

Im currently collecting app ideas on iOS store.
Lurking around.

I see some potential apps.

Later this month or next month im gonna upload my first app to Apple store.
Will see how it goes.

So far everything is smooth. Including making Apple developer account and talking with really nice persons in support team of theirs.

I was thinking about some ideas how to go with new Play store requirements, such as 20 testers etc.
Will test this idea later. Currently focusing on Apple.

Theory goes, apple is where the money is at when running an mrr, playstore users are just accustomed to free shit.

Both operating system us Android, Android is Local conflict by Google play store and Apple store such as vip,,

The difference is:

Apple store positive reasons why:
Lidar = visual effects in the production industry for motion capture.
High quality games like re4 remake.
Quality apps.
Integrated ecosystem over all compliment devices.

Apple store negative reasons why:
Cannot pirate.
Once a iOS requirement is set not all phones can run that app mandatory.
Must use ide on apple or virtualise a session on windows to run ide.

Google store negative reasons: why
To much competition.
Low quality apps
No lidar.
No Pay wall/can pirate
Can have intrusive ads.
Doesn't support true native code like iOS.

Google store positive reasons why

Accessable to anyone (excluding waiwai)
Great for the kids.
Can pirate it.
Can clone it.
WiFi hacker tools.
Mostly shady stuff.
Automation.
Not all phones are compliant but not mandatory dependent on developer.
Can run android studio on anything.

Not a country specific app, just a niche app that a lot of people are generally interested in
