Today i bought a pair of lightning earpods i spent 55$ to get them only to realise after that i can only use them with my iphone and there is no way i can use them with my MacBook . Apple didn't make an adapter . What's the point of making headphones that can't be used on your own F**king Laptops , Why Would you replace the 3.5mm headphone jack with a lightning connector when all your laptops use the headphone jack . That's Freaking Stupid . i've been searching online for Adapters or Dongles Anything that can make me use them on my macbook air still can't find a way should i just forget about it it's like flushing 50$ down the toilet just like that

We bought and returned back an iPhone just because they lack integration features across platforms.

It`s just about fooling people they are different. They want, the user to use just Apple stuff. It`s called a monopoly. Funny thing; it works.

yeah i tried returning them but the store i bought them from told me they don't accept returning products

i used to admire apple but this really bullshit selling shit like this what's the point of a headphone you can only use with your phone even there laptops aren't compatible with their own headphones WTF!!

i'll try to resell them if i can't find an adapter to make it work other than that i'm not buying anything from them anymore other than their macbooks

It's really sad, but they sure will have an adapter for it have you searched on eBay or AliExpress?

well they stopped making the ones with 3.5mm headphone jack i thought there is an adapter to make it work who would think you can't use headphones made by a company on their own devices . anyway i'll take the blame for it i should've done the research
 
Apple is drunk with power. They can do whatever they want to and people will still buy their shit products! Do yourself a favor leave the apple prison... come on over to Windows, and Android. I bought a brand new macbook pro 15 inch and spent like $3500 noticed I wasn't getting any value returned it and got an Alienware 17 for 3k instead... my alienware laptop is so powerful it could control a damn space shuttle. I also just switched over from an iPhone to the galaxy note 9 best switch I've ever made.

they didn't make one for it i seaarched everywhere there is no adapter they didn't make one for it what's funnny is they made an adapter 3.5mm to lightning but no lightning to 3.5mm

i agree i'm switching to android on my next phone upgrade i'm done with apple
 
just go for sony wf 1000 it connects to almost anything apple that has Bluetooth
 
I have an iphone for my private and personal life as to me its more secure than android... I use a samsung android phone for my work and fun because it is more friendly with other tools and more open.. apple make money through every door they can squeeze through.. so I get how you feel.. join android brah :)
 
Just use an aux cable in between the adapter and your MacBook.

Edit: I read it wrong, lol. There's no fix.
 
Well that sucks! I don't like things which are tied to only work on one platform.
