Hey all, I'd like those who joined Appen Inc, for US market, what are the documents required for application? and if there's an interview or not, finally what's the rate per hour?

I tried Appen and lasted a week, the work is just too mundane and repetitive.

The tests aren't too bad but the constant performance threats were too much.

But good luck.

thanks for reply, what kind of documents they requested, only resume and your official ID, did you sent them your licence or passport? thanks
 
It was years ago and I don't remember. I think it was the usual documents that are required for employment in the US. Drivers license and SS Card or Passport.
 
The job the offer (worldwide, from home) is social media evaluator.
They show you (mainly FB) post and ask you to identify the kind of message in the post (clickbait, call for action, etc)
To apply for the job you have to:
- register, (legit personal infos, tax id etc.)
- submit you resumee
- submit a payoneer account to be paid,
- make a test in order to let them evaluate your skills on the job (10 media evaluation "quiz")
If everything is OK, they accept you and starting from then, probably, the start sending you task to be done. (i'm still waiting to start receivind but consider I've been accepted 100% just a couple of days ago)

When I was working, It wasn't much. I got $4 per hour. 5 Hours a day.
