I have a legitimate white hat Twitter account with a good sized following that's about 3 years old now. It got suspended 8 days ago for "aggressive following/unfollowing" behavior. I've submitted multiple tickets appealing to remove the suspension, but 8 days later I have yet to get a real reply other than a help desk auto-responder. I tried creating another account and DM-ing support, but they say I just have to wait. 8 days? Really? Anything else I can do to get them to consider my appeal quicker?

i have had this happen to me many times, most of the time i get an email back from twitter saying there are sorry it happened and it was a mistake , they have been using a new program to detect spam accounts and its not perfect , so even if you had been aggressively following you will be fine and the shitty thing is there is no way to speed it up. im sure this happens all day and the twitter support email inbox if full of people just like me and you , just a matter of time until you get it back

OK, I appreciate it. 8 days is killing me..........

Same thing happened to me, no response from support. Initial email said the minimum ban was a week, and my account was reactivated about 10 days after it got suspended. It sucks, but all you can do is wait!

There is a Twitter user who works with the support team.
He was able to re activate my suspended account.

I will take a look for his username now for you.

Same thing happened to me but I deserved it. I sent like 1,000 follows in couple of hours.

You just have to be patient and wait it out. Once you get your account back, try not to stand out from the crowd as far as following/un-following goes.
