skins wont available. It is the one you should re design by hiring designer..

From what I read, you can find open source codes, reskin them to make them your own and reupload them. I guess I misread it.

Here reskin means , re design it. same game play, but different graphics. If you search, you can find free match 3 game codes, it needs only simple design.

Right, I can do the graphics. I have been dabbling with GameSalad. Hopefully I can get it going with a few ideas I have.

You can actually target both iOS and Android with one codeline if you use a cross compatible framework like libGDX, xamarin and others. I've found in my development that if you choose only one, you're missing about 50% of your target audience.

Took the plunge today. Bought a game from Chupamobile and am going to attempt to reskin it myself using stock vector graphics and sounds/music. Once it's up and running I'll be running some fb ads to generate installs and hopefully start killing it with apps!

this is really good i had a idea about that method but I don't how to know do it, I will try

I have a list of 1.7 million email addresses with a niche of gaming, I have used this a few times to market my gaming app and the download numbers increase dramatically, if anyone is interested pm me.

I still don't understand the earning part. I spent 1k to get 10k installs and i am using ads for monetization , my cpm rate is 1$ so I am getting only 10$ per day only if everyone playing my game.

If you are using chartboost and vungle, your earning will be double than what you spent. I guess you using only admob as monetization.

I hadn't heard of TapJoy -- do they have a daily minimum spend?

No daily limit. But I dont sugegst tapjoy unless you have huge budget.

Thanks for the reply Big B actually I mean that the earnings are very low compare to what we are paying for installs or may be they are good in long run. And regarding installs can we get .03 cents to .10 cents per installs if we are offering a paid app BTW are you from India..??

It will be good for long run, if your app has many options to make user engaged well. Yes, you can get 3 to 10 cents even if it is paid app and yes I am from India.

Omg, I didn't think about advertising my apps on facebook, but after seeing that the price per install is about $0.02, I should give it a try!

Hi Guys,

Each of my app is making $50 per day from ad revenue and in apps, which is in top 100. Buy more installs to rank well, it will fetch more natural installs and your ranking will be retained there.

Mate, since your apps got in the top 100, how much time they remained there without buying installs? And if I make an app, and buy good installs for it lets say 300 per day for 7 days, is it for sure that it would get in top 100? Would appreciate an answer : )

I'd also like to say, don't be short-sighted on this. You don't have to just create game apps or other types of apps for people to download. You can create apps for small businesses. It's very lucrative and they just eat them up. They pretty much sell themselves.

I don't like dealing with customers but on the ones I did sell that were from templates, I would average about $750 for android and $1000-$1500 for Apple. I probably spent a couple of hours on all the work per app. Graphics usually came from their website.

I would sometimes bundle services together and sell them on a monthly plan for $300+ a month which is easier to swallow. And seeing that I was posting the apps to my accounts I had control over them if they didn't pay me.

You mean you create apps for local businesses, or you search them over the internet and propose them to develop the app?

I work full time as an iOS and web dev. I have a few iOS apps out there on my own. I coded all my apps from scratch. I do the design myself too but designing take a lot of my time because I'm not good at it and I like things to look pretty. Where is a good place to hire good designer at affordable rate?

I think to make it, we need to have a lot of patience and it's all about trial and error. The app that makes the most money for me now ($35/a day over $1k/mth) started out making 20c, 30c a day. I got frustrated and left it there to collect dimes. I then made some updates for iOS7 so it looks good on my resume' and changed some keywords. I instantly saw jump in daily downloads and more ad money rolls in. I played with the keyword with every new update and now I'm getting about 400 download a day 1000 daily active users and $35/day. I have both iAd and Admob. If iAd fails, Admob will fill in. I find Admob interstitial ad brings in a lot more money than banner ad. One click gets me about 20c-40c compare to 2-10c for banner. Be careful not to present too many interstitial ad tho because it's pervasive.

I highly recommend integrate Google Analytics/Flurry Analytics SDK into your apps to get a better ideas of your users, how they use your apps, what screen they spend the most time on... I can see from which countries my apps bring in the most ads money.

I have some other apps (utilities/small business) bringing in constant in app purchase money. On average, I make about a bit over $2k/month for all app.

I have just recently started looking into ASO because my new app which is a Twitter client flops so bad even though it has a unique feature that no other twitter clients have. I barely get any downloads. Started out at 170 download/day not it is at less than 10 downloads/day :(. The keywords I'm targeting are too competitive. I have to scroll like 20,30 page to see my app.

I also have a flappy bird clone which does not get downloads at all, again searching by my keywords, my app is buried at the bottom.

I have never done any marketing for my apps. I'm planning to research keywords using sensor tower, run a Facebook ad campaign and buy reviews/downloads to see how that would help my flop apps and my money apps. I see a lot of people mention Fiverr. How do I contact him?

Thanks,

As of targeting countries - I suggest spying on competition and checking where are their top ranks.
Sometimes you will see something like "top10 in Chile" - since those countries have small to none competition -its extremely easy to rank. I know - those countries wont make you much money, but at least you have a good start - and more countries/territories you rank - better are overall results. So for $10/day in targeted installs in some remote country you can get easily to top50 which will help you to gain higher ranks in other countries.
