Is it worth the time to do app reskinning?
I don't have a lot of programming knowledge but, i can work it out if there's money to be made.

Can you guys point me into a good direction where to learn more about this topic?

There is also a lot to learn, how I understand, they actually catch app reskinners now.

some people have done it here and were successful. But today read one person got banned but do not know the reason, he did not write the reason for the ban
