app likes vs. normal likes?

Hey guys,

i have a fan page with a video box. First step is like it, before you can play the video. So to get this started, it would be better to do "app likes" for it. Anyone knows why app likes are so expensive since its the same procedure and is it possible to get app likes anywhere for normal rates?

All pages will be transferred to the new Timeline and your timeline will be the only lander you can have. Your taps will be there too but user has to click on it to view it. No more custom landers.
