How do I setup a proxy on my phone?
Android proxy settings
- Open your Android's Settings.
- Tap Wi-Fi.
- Tap and hold the Wi-Fi Network Name.
- Select Modify Network.
- Click Advanced Options.
- Tap Manual.
- Change your proxy's settings. Enter the hostname and proxy port (e.g. us.smartproxy.com:10101). You can find the full list in your dashboard.
- Tap Save.

iPhone proxy settings:
- Open your iPhone settings.
- Tap Wi-Fi.
- Select the info icon on the right side.
- Scroll down to the HTTP Proxy Configure Proxy.
- Tap Manual.
- Edit your proxy settings – e.g. Server – us.smartproxy.com, Port – 10101. ...
- Tap back to Wi-Fi selection window.

Can this be configured for all types of proxies; Mobile, residential or data centres? or only for mobile proxies?

So on Android do all these types of proxies work (assuming you use android).

In case if you set up proxies in phone settings directly, proxies will work for browser only, so it's always recommended to use specific apps to create proxy connection. The best one I know is called PotatsoLite, it's free

So by using this app, you can set up the proxy in the app and its will allow you to run the proxy on apps is that correct?

do you know an app that does work that TikTok don't detect? basically want to run a US proxy so TikTok think my geo is in US.

You can apply proxies using your device's WiFi settings, you'll have to check online for specific steps depending on your phone's model or some such. There might apps for that too? Not dreadfully sure on the apps bit, but I'm sure as sunshine you can just use your proxies on the device's settings. If you're looking for US proxies, you can look around the Want to Buy or Marketplace sections for some. Best of luck.
