You could boost your Category rankings by doing/increasing volumes of the usual numbers:
- increased new daily installs amount from your targeted countries (must be the most important thing)
- increased new positive reviews/ratings
- increased app retention & engagement rates
- also it's important to have new backlinks coming (for Google Play rankings), I mean the PR campaigns for blogs/press/news websites inserting your app link
