Apologies

Sorry to hear. RIP to him.
In India a girl has to leave her home and go to with her husband in his home which is very difficult part of life. Not from childhood but when i have started my business and we keep talking on business all ups and down. He don't know how to run computer and there start ups but he always help me on business. There are so many ups and down but he and my mom always with me. Even on my dream i can't think to loose them. Before 3 years back he had an heart attack where immediately need to do his heart bypass surgery which was successfully done. That 8 hours of operation is very critical for our family. I always pray that god never give such situations in anyone life when the time comes that you have to loose your parents or loved ones.

God is always with you, so take care yourself and your family @t0mmy

I'm never sure what to tell people who are grieving. On one hand I know that we'll see our loved ones in the day of Resurrection, but on the other it doesn't make it any less sad in the here and now. Naysayers need not respond. Time can be cruel but can also heal wounds. I can only give my condolences.

@t0mmy you are one of those people here who I actually respect, which is pretty rare. Sometimes it helps to get away from it all and spend time in the company of nature. Seeing the beauty of the world that we live in soothes the heart.

Whenever I feel very sad about something I go outside in the middle of the night and look at the night sky. Just let the breeze hit your face and think about the vastness of the universe. Watch the stars shimmering in the night sky and marvel at the things unknown. There's so much that we do not know.

What is life and death? I don't believe that we truly die. It's a temporary moment where you can't be near to those you love. We are given maybe 80 years on this planet and then we are reunited with our ancestors. Believe that one day you will see your father again.

Maybe it's too philosophical, but I hope it helps.

I know how it feels, 2 1/2 years ago my dad passed away. you have to remember the good times so it puts a smile on your face, and he will always be in your thoughts.

Sorry to hear that bro, may you get the strength to bear the loss.

Stay Strong!

I am very saddened to hear of your loss. May your father’s soul rest in peace. Stay strong and May God give you strength and courage to bear this pain. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

OMG -- I am extremely sad since I read this yesterday! My condolence & prayers towards you & your family! May you get back to your life again soon.. This is the worst lose one can have & only those who have lost someone can understand your feelings right now!

Accept my condolences.

If there is one thing I can say to anyone reading this - cherish your loved ones, it's a common saying but it's so true "you really don't know what's round the corner"

This say is so true. Some of us realize it a little too late. I cherish the people in my life.

It's very true you don't know what's ahead and you always need to cherish your loved ones and enjoy all of those "little moments" that will leave behind a lifetime's worth of memories.

I recently lost a family member and it's not easy to cope with such a sudden loss especially when it comes to someone you care for so much.

I feel your pain and share with you the feeling that you're going through as I too don't have my father in my life any longer.

My thoughts are with you and I hope your pain eases soon.

@t0mmy I am so sorry to hear your loss. Stay strong and I am sure he was incredibly proud of you already. There isn't anything that anyone can say right now to ease your pain or suffering because losing someone like your farther is one of the hardest things to experience.

Your dad will live on in you and your actions which will be passed to your son as he grows up. Special people never really die because the impact they had on people's lives means they live on indefinitely through future generations.

As daft as this may sound, I remember it was my grandad who showed me how to wash my hands when I was a small kid. That 30 second part of my life has lived on in my memory for nearly 40 years. And a few years ago I actually showed my daughter how to wash her hands in the same way that my grandad had shown me. And I told her about him, (her great grandad), as I was showing her how to wash her hands properly. It's the small things like that which allow people to live on long after they have passed from this world.
