I'm thinking of adding the ability to load a seed article to my application. Does anyone know if there are apis out there for article databases that would offer a way to get a list of articles based on keyword?

Or would I have to resort to scraping article sites.

I'm looking to do something similar to what SEnuke (load an article) or Ultimate Demon (seed article) do...

do you want to get the entire article or just article ideas?

Ezinearticles.com used to have an api but not sure if it is still active. If you just need article ideas I think most directories offer RSS feeds maybe that could be a way to get some ideas fast espcially if you can customize them by keyword.

If you need the whole artcile+ scraping is probably the best route.

Yeah. I'd want the entire article. Ideally I could get them from apis.

Not sure if something like that exists. I'm pretty good at finding that kind of stuff and I came up empty. Probably scraping is your best bet. Could be some software already build that does it though.

I think you'd have to resort to scraping, have something like get articlepro inbuilt.

yeah, it looks like ezine's api is dead and it doesn't even let you search.
