With so many platforms and tools used in daily operations, keeping data connected and accurate can be a real challenge. I’m curious — how are businesses handling automation and API integrations to reduce manual work and improve workflow efficiency?

Are you using custom APIs, third-party tools, or something in between?

yes. build or use one main platform or dashboard to keep track of other third party programs, connections etc. it depends from business to business, but typically a main hub for overview is a requirement if you are managing various operations. but at the same time, ive seen places do the opposite. it is still happening many places where they just run an ineffecient business as long as it is profitable

they use api to stored data and to transfer or use data on time only like they use apis to transfer data or use that data on time only, they do live data of transfer

Think of your apps like toys that need to play nicely together.
Businesses use two things:
  1. Ready-made connectors (like plug-and-play adapters) to quickly link tools.
  2. Custom APIs (like special Lego pieces) for important, heavy-duty jobs.
They pick one “home base” for truth (the main data store), send updates with little messages (webhooks/events), and watch everything with dashboards. This cuts copy-pasting, fixes mistakes faster, and keeps things safe.

Yes I do. I am using an API of an SMM Panel and here is the link of that panel- https://best-smm.com/
It has helped a lot to reduce my manual work and it was budget friendly indeed.
