Hello, what happens if you do too many api calls? no scraping just api calls in general on an account

does it get blocked from following and any other actions? or does it experience some other sort of ban if it abuses api calls in general? i heard there was some sort of limit

You can get shadowbanned for too many API calls. I don't know if it leads to permaban though, I haven't tried it. You could use a dummy account to experiment and see fir yourself.

Yes that's why you can change the referer and header when you make api call to simulate different device that make the call api
