AOL vs GMAIL

For Instagram ? Use AOL. However, while creating an AOL email / account, you will have to enter a local phone number to receive an SMS verification code. Go ahead with it (use something like smspva dot com) and create the AOL email account and login. After logging in, add a recovery email (photon dot me or any other) and after that remove the stored phone number. AOL emails work as smooth as butter for me, rather than Gmail which keeps asking for sms verificationd and sometimes get disabled and then have to appeal, etc.

AOLs usually last longer than fresh Gmails before hitting verification walls, and they work fine with IMAP. You can forward to FirstMail, but note some providers still track login patterns, so warm-up and consistent usage matter more for longevity

From my experience, AOL emails usually stay active longer without triggering SMS checks compared to new Gmail accounts. They support IMAP fully, which is good for your client. Using FirstMail as a forwarding address works, but Gmail’s security often flags accounts based on login patterns, not just forwarding — so careful usage and warm-up still matter.

Can you tell what is verification wall?

AOLs tend to be less strict than fresh Gmails but their longevity really depends on usage patterns and IP quality.

in my experience, gmail is much stronger, especially if you let it lie down for a while and not immediately use it and make a small farm, warm up. Plus, of course, Gmail is very sensitive to proxies, if you have high quality, then gmail lives longer
