Some site ripped my custom skin I created and not only released it to the public for free, but is f*cking selling it for $5 on their site. I'd like to get an Xrumer post blast to their site. I tried to get HostGator to take it down but apparently they don't even listen to DMCA lol. I thought HG was a reputable host but you have to send a complaint signed by a lawyer and all this shit then buy a fucking fax machine just so you can send it to them.

lol, they told you you HAVE to have it signed by a lawyer? ^^

I always thought to file a copyright complaint either the Rights Holder or an Agent working on their (<- the lawyer) behalf could do it .

You don't need to have a lawyer to sue someone ^^

On the xrumer blast, there are PLENTY of people here who have it, (unfortunately I'm not one of them or I'd do it for you) Maybe some kind hearted soul will do it for you, failing that, check out the BST section, there will be lots of people offering xrumer services there fairly cheap

EDIT: Fiverr is also a good place to find cheap xrumer services

Cool. They use CloudFlare so that rules out DoS :(. I'll have to do something more sneaky. The signed by a lawyer thing was a joke but their policy is also a fucking joke for a host that's US based.

I don't understand how they can just ignore DMCA requests, surely that means they are actively allowing criminality on their network leaving themselves wide open to a suit (having said that, I'm not from the US so I don't have an intimate knowledge of the act.

If they have adsense on their site, could always go click crazy and get them banned from that, hit them in the pocket where it hurts. Or try and find a sympathetic hacker to hack the site for you :D

The registrant info is fake, I'll go report that to their registrar and once they make him put real info I'll do something with that info ;).

ooes, sneaky...but I like it.

The possibilities are endless once you got his info. Maybe he'll be dumb enough to put his home address lol. Should have used domain privacy...tut..tut...not that that would have protected him in a lawsuit ofc.

It's not hard to DOS a website, although, with Cloudflare you are facing a significantly more robust infrastructure, than just some crappy shared hosting provider. Anyhow, I have no problem poking around a bit for non-CF subs, webapp vulnerabilities, and just seeing what's possible, PM me the domain. Quick, or this will be a tomorrow thing. =P

Shit this is 7 days old, why'd it show up top for me? Anyhow, ignore...my bad.
