Hey everyone, after a lot of research and hard work I decided on going into programming. I've been very successful in finding some joint-ventures here on BHW which are moving along great, however at the moment I'm in the need of some quick money.

The types of applications I can make range from games, social networking, dating, photo sharing, etc.

I can develop for both the Android, iOS, and Windows platforms.

I'm looking for somewhere that I can make simple applications and sell the source code/right to them, or even find some applications that need to be developed for absolute budget pricing. I've tried freelancing websites etc, but getting the job seems nearly impossible.

Anyone have some ideas? I've been thinking about Flippa but it seems like everything that's sold there is applications that already have a little traction. I'm looking more into "Create&Sell"

hi, did you tried fiverr, upwork, you can fix bugs on android/ ios codes, add ads on some codes, evn make a new app,

Fiverr really seems like an odd place to do this considering I cannot charge more than $5 at first. (Do not have a ranked seller account)

I know some friends who earn good money there, ya in the beginning its hard but when you got some sells and reviews you will earn some good money too, as you are a developer already , sone tasks there will take you just seconds to deliver

if you are more with create and sell, better places are codecanyon and chupamobile, you can create app or game template and sell it there,

How much do you plan to charge on an application ?
On UpWork it's a very important thing because people are coming from the USA and from Pakistan, where the life isn't the same price at those places.
And of course it's hard to get a job there because sometimes (very often) you have people with no experience pretending they have some to deliver poor job and give you a headache with "issues" on the website when you pay them. So yes, people chose freelancers with experience ( that's what I'm doing now ).

Honestly right now I'm willing to work with people's budget and I feel like my prices are definitely on the cheap side for US standards, but obviously on the expensive side for Pakistan standards. As you stated, the cost of living is extremely different between the two places so the amount of work one person can do for a certain amount of money differs from the amount another can do. I wouldn't mind making semi-complicated applications for $200-$300. While simpler applications could stick around $50-$100. I'm confident in my skill to deliver and I would never bid or take on a project that I wasn't sure that I could complete.

Sice we have a rise in the number of affiliate marketers, as a fellow software developer, I will urge you to focus on coming up with a system that will help the marketers manage their tasks and finances properly. It is an increasing demand for such like systems and therefore venturing into it at this early stage will make you earn a lot . You can also be creating applications where one can be able to source the marketers in different niches with much ease.
