Anyway to reinstall wordpress but keep old posts, and their date?

You can check out the Duplicator plug-in. Not positive if its what your looking for but worth a look.

Hmm kinda looks like what I am looking for. Just to download my posts, theme and plugins, reinstall wordpress, then throw my theme, plugins, and posts back on like I never touched it. Just seems all my sites are messy.

You know how to use it, I know I can watch tuts, but this one blog means everything to me. I dont really want to mess it up. And yeah it was dumb of me to let the host transfer it :(

Just found this plug in myself and havent had the chance to use it.

Ah alright.
Seems when my host transferred it, it broke some of my websites features. So I reinstalled it, and they are still broken. This is very odd.

Can you describe the migration process a little bit more in detail? I am trying to imagine what could have cone wrong.

So did you only transfer hosts? Is it only on one domain - or or how many domains / blogs involved?

Did you change the domain name during the migration?

When migrating from server to server, it can be pretty easy to keep it looking / functioning identical from the original. However, there are small quarks that come up. Anything from not having mod_rewrite enabled or running on a different PHP 5.x version that foobars, on up to php.ini -or- mod_sec misconfigured.

It's hard to determine what went wrong without specific details, but I can always lend an ear.

Not sure, even the host wasnt to helpful. I am just gonna get my money back, and move back to my old posts. I have my posts saved, just waiting for my nameservers to update now.
Thank you for the help though :)

OP, you can export and import posts using the left sidebar "settings-tools"
