    Hi,

If I purchased some private proxies, is there any way/program to channel that into a VPN connection (so that my non http applications can use that channel as well)?

    Thanks.

Depends on what you need them for. I use VPN and it works out cheaper for me personally. I also don't have to fiddle with the settings. If you need to quickly change proxies or run multiple threads then it might not be for you.

Can I use products such as TweetAttack and Market Samurai with a VPN or would I need to get proxies as well?

you should look into tunneling your application through http. do you know what protocol your app uses?
