Is there a way to not pay taxes. I'm self employed SEO / IM.
Can I create a company outside of the US so I don't have to pay?
Can I buy a house outside of US and say I live there and not pay any taxes?

    Any tips or advice?
    Thanks.

What a great American. Did you know taxes goes to schools, roads, sidewalks, highways, and all the infrastructure that you see. You don't want to pay taxes, why not go to another country?

Advertising the fact that you want to evade tax on a public forum is not the best place to start.

People always thinking on how to do the wrong thing. If only they will think on doing the right thing they will do great.

Setup a freezone company in Dubai. It costs $10,000 a year to keep the trade license going.

Rent is relatively cheap in Dubai compared to the US but groceries and electronic items are more expensive.

Sports cars and lavish houses are super cheap to buy though (compared to the US obviously)

Two other options worth looking at:

    1) Singapore
    2) Cayman Islands
    3) Marbella (havent looked into this thoroughly yet)

I think Americans are taxed on their worldwide income. So, go to a place that has zero income tax and then give up your American citizenship. Anyhow, avoiding tax is different to evading it. If you find a loophole and there are plenty created by politicians for their rich mates, then using it is not evading tax rather it is completely legal.

Also, the point about funding infrastructure is BS. If people are stupid enough to pay for it and you can find a way not to pay then more fool them. Better that more money is in my pocket being spent on me and my own than on anybody else.

First, educate yourself on how tax works and write offs. Be creative and take it from there. Get an accountant to make sure everything you're doing is legal. But obviously yes, there's legal ways to not pay any income tax.

You can either avoid them on your own (super risky), get a tank of money and some good accountants and avoid them "legally" or just move and become resident of a tax haven :)

Even if you open a company elsewhere, your income tax, doesn't matter if its in dividends or whatever the fuck you wanna get paid, will be taxed. Even if your country has double taxation treaty with the country in which you have your company, you will still need to pay the difference.

The easiest way is to move and become resident of a country with 0% taxes.

Swiss bank, payoneer card etc, this would somehow get you out, but also dont get into big problems not so smart to mess with IRS.

Use tax write-off , all that thing, contact some accountant, he could help.

Geeze, so many butt hurt people in this forum. I just paid 100k in taxes this year and I have a good accountant. Sorry, but that was way too much to be giving the government when I was at home 300+ days a year creating websites. Seriously, rich people do not pay taxes. It is middle class people that pay all the taxes.
Our country is for people that think outside the box. If you are in IM, that is even more true. If you think we should not think of ways to save money by not paying ridiculous amounts of money to the government then that is your choice but it is not mine.

Anyway, we are in IM or I am in IM/SEO. I do not know about you guys. Most of you guys sound broke. I do not need to live in the US to make the same amount of money. If I can save 10k or 30k then I'll take it.

The best I can come up with is to relocate to Switzerland. I'm asking people because I'm new to taxes and related laws. I'm sure a lot of people have better ideas.

You almost always have to have a greater amount of money to spend than you make a year, which most people don't have. You also need to realize some people aren't smart enough or don't have the right connections to legally avoid the majority of the tax they owe out.

Look it up. There's so many articles on it. But the thing is, do you have a couple hundred thousand dollars laying around to invest into this? That's your answer.

I know that you feel like not paying taxes but

you can avoid our screwed up tax laws and take advantage of some loopholes.

    Good luck.

How about get out of our country? Why should I have to pay your taxes just because you don't want too? This is why Americans should be taxed a flat rate per year no matter what you make we all pay the same, like a membership fee to live in this country. You want to live in the USA? Pay xxxx amount of $$$ per year. If you're smart and rich, great. If you're poor sucks for you, rise above it.

Taxes are a bill, just like all your other bills. When a poor person goes to the grocery store the cashier doesn't say to a poor person, Hey! I see your poor as fuck so instead of having you pay for your grocery bill, we will have the rich person behind you who worked hard for their money pay for it since you can't. I don't pay for a poor persons groceries, and I shouldn't have to pay their tax bill either. Rich and successful people should not be punished because they are successful. Then they will leave this country and take their money, business's, and jobs (for the poor people who should be grateful they are even working) with them.

We all use the public services (roads, postal service, schools, etc.) the same whether you are rich or poor (actually poor people may use it more if they are on unemployment etc so they should probably pay more) so we should all be paying the same amount of taxes per year to fund what the government needs regardless of income.

On a side note, the government needs to lessen taxes. I think 80% of the price of a bottle of alcohol is taxes. What is the point of that? The government is money hungry and they need to learn to live on a budget like most of it's citizens. If you are rich and educated enough to find loopholes to save money, great! If you are poor and stupid, too bad for you!

Regardless of what the government charges though, I shouldn't have to pay your taxes so grow up!

you know how many tax loopholes the rich and upper class use to avoid taxes? it doesn't have to be about tax evasion, there are enough legal ways to avoid taxes.

stop being a bunch of crybabies lol ;)
