anything wrong with grouping lots of forum backlinks?

Lets say you're getting backlinks from forum sigs, is there anything wrong with having 10 different backlinks from 10 different sites of yours? i'm doing manual link building so i'l like to stick as many different backlinks to my sites (about 10 sites) in there. Posting several backlinks in the same sig is what i mean.

So if i start to get thousands of backlinks like this, will i be penalized by search engines, or is it okay?

It is not Google that is going to be a problem. If you load up your sigs with 10 links the chances of it not being deleted is the real problem. Seriously if you ran a forum and somebody had 10 links in their sig would you let me them keep it or would you delete their account. Since you are doing this manually I would go for quality. Make your self a nice sig of at least a couple of sentences and bury a link or two in the middle. You will get a better stick rate.

Ya, there's a good chance of getting banned with just one link, so I wouldn't bother with this.

I have been interlinking the forum profiles i have been creating. What i mean is, for each profile i create, i put my link with anchor text on my bio and then underneath i paste the link of the last profile i created and so on. Yet to see any results, but it's early days yet.

How can you possibly put 10 links inside your signature. I think they have about 255 characters limit to signature field. Correct me if I'm wrong

It depends on the platform and site admin some will allow up to 500. Some people shorten their urls as well which would help.

ok maybe 10 is too much. make it 5 links. whatever the max is. my point is mainly with being penalized by g00gle or is that not an issue?
