I'm making a Wordpress site and I'm wondering it would be in any way bad for me to remove the date and time from the site completely. For me I just hate the idea of people seeing when I'm posting :| Like if I slacked off for a month, or even a few days without a post. But then other times I could have a few in one day. There's just no consistency :(

Any thoughts on if there's a possible SEO impact? Or negative impact on the user?

There is nothing wrong with that. Matter, in fact, it can be to your advantage in some cases. For example, if you are in an evergreen niche like personal development or dating advice then your readers do not care when you posted, they just care that the information is good.

It doesn't matter, reoccurring visitors will know if it is new post, new visitors don't care either(dependent of the niche)

Nope! Like Ripster and ManKing said, it doesn't matter since most of the important time configuration is done server-side. The only time you may need it is if you are running a multi author blog. You can schedule posts from WordPress 3.5 upwards.

1. Find the publishing box on the right side of the text box.
2. Save as a draft or save as pending review.
3. Once you have your pending posts polished, schedule them for publication

Also useful is BufferApp that can you manage your posting on social networks after writing at the most convenient time.

doesn't matter either way, sometimes it looks better without time/date

Yes Correct. It doesn't matter. If your visit find interesting things on your blog then he will definitely visit your blog again. New visitors don't care about such things..
