How can I convert PSD to Wordpress....Do I have to make an HTML first

Share some useful plugins that you think are very important, but hard to find.

I would recommend
Ad inserter, for ad placement in your blog
Addtoany share buttons, for social share of your posts and pages
AMP, so you can have a WordPress blog optimized for mobile articles
Auto affiliate links, for automatic insertion of links on specific words, also used for internal linking.
Contact form 7, for a contact form
Yoast SEO for SEO.
Q2W3 Fixed widger, for a fixed sidebar scrolling with the post/page
Schema Pro, for rich snippets in google.
For popups, content builder, themes, quiz, testimonials - i recommend the full pack in Thrive Themes
for split tests use the VWO service
the best security plugin is Wordfence Security
for database optimization use WP-optimize
and for Cache plugin use W3 Total Cache.

I Hope this helps you!

Share some useful plugins that you think are very important, but hard to find.

Thanks for asking and my pleasure to answer your question.

Now WordPress is not only a blogging system its convertible, but it can also be used as an online store, a blog with the store, referrals website with a store and blog, project management, or client management system, etc..

So first we need to define the purpose of the system what it needs to achieve to define and list down all the plugins.

Second things there is no such a thing called hard to find ofc. there is but most of the companies they build their plugins and they hire marketing teams to be well known if it's not known might be built by a shady company what might be having a question mark. Or unless if the plugin built and mean to be hidden for in house use only.

So first we need to define the system what will have then we can list down all the features. In general, the most important features are:
SEO, Security, Caching plugins or load enhancements plugins, page builder, mobility
There is a ton of plugs for social media management, auto-posting, content creation, GDPR, etc.. you can simply search for them ill not explain those so if you have any specific question please ask and would be happy to answer

Now it's important to understand that plugin as they are sharing the same infrastructure and if the plugin is not well written under WordPress community guideline, it might affect the speed of the site or the security so here are my best plugins that I can recommend for each feature in above.

SEO:
SEO Auto Linker is a WordPress plugin that takes care of all of your Internal Linking needs.
Yoast plugin Premium if the free been used it's useless alone and it must be combined with other plugins
There are people they like to add broken link checker and keyword research same as you are putting your bedroom above your small car those extra plugins might generate load on the site what another professional external tool can do better work.

one My favorites for SEO to be honest are is Rank Math or Premium SEO Pack but there is a learning curve especially for the second one

Security:
iThemes premium (Free missing a lot of important features if you need to use free you can go with all security plugins), Wordfence (much better to test the load of the site before and after as some hosting work bad with it), Sucuri plugin

Caching plugins and speed:
WRocket (The best plugin it's not free I have the nulled version if you need it I can post it in download section). W3 Cach, a total cache is free they not that efficient but better than nothing
Gonzales Plugin
Swift Performance

Page builder:
This is an important part now there are many options here now it's important to understand there are many plugins that they embed codes that are not a necessary example might some plugin add the accordion element in all pages what will cause a lot of time load (same what happen in wp bakery) here where Gonzales plugin comes to work. so, in my opinion, the best plugin builder is beaver builder plugin it's so expensive but do a lot of great work I have it if you need me to share it as well ask for it if you like to try it.

The best builder plugin I found from a performance perspective is the oxygen plugin but it doesn't include all visual elements

Mobility to make it fit all the screens:
AMP for WordPress but this is not what I prefer as I build specific templates for mobile

Wp bakery plugin has an incredible external plugin I think it includes all visual elements you need in the world to embed in the builder and so easy to use but downside it embeds a ton of feature and not necessary codes in the page where it slows the page down...

I am sorry I went into so many details but asking about the important plugin its really a general question as WordPress can do many things so if you feel you still need to ask more please feel free to ask more about anything you like. and would be happy to answer all your questions.

How can I convert PSD to Wordpress...Do I have to make an HTML first

There are many tools now for this Artisteer or photoshop plugin like the export kit. When first time I work with Artisteer it was like a dream tool it short days of works into seconds, an Export kit plugin you just need to make the guideline and this tool will export to everything for you but what I prefer is to do manually

Those tools are the best for the time perspective but the embed a lot of the trash in the code what slows down the page (maybe) I prefer if I need it to be professional to render it to html5 using Macaw or InVision now then convert this to PHP template files also beside converting those to WordPress theme they need a lot of testing what makes the first 2 options are the best for timing but might be not the best in quality so you need to check that.

Export kit or any others will convert everything to the theme what you don't need to render to HTML5... Hope this answer your questions if you feel you have more to ask please go on.

Thanks :) but actually i asked it from @Skyslimits to explore his knowledge.

Thanks and I hope really you found my answer helpful to help others if you want me I can keep going by adding more random important plugins such as image compression form builders or whatever. I really believe you can find them all by adding good plugins that have more than 500k or more Active Installations. Example Classic Editor is one of my favorites because I hate Gutenberg but its optional.

So if you feel that I didn't answer your question please be more specific and gladly will answer it so just let me know if anything needed.

Hey where can I get some good courses to learn custom plugin development and theme development. I made 50+ sites but never in my life I coded any plugin or made a WordPress site from scratch. Most of the good companies are only hiring people who have good coding knowledge in PHP. I am a CS student myself and I only know the basics of PHP and CSS.

How do you recommend a freelancer to get jobs, i already have my portfolio website. Basically how do you get clients

Hey, do you know how to make your WordPress safer? I've been using Wordfence, and I've always had reports where they're trying to login via wp-admin. I really want to make sure my website is safe. What 's the best way to deal with this?

Thanks!

I want to know why not elementor as a page builder? Just curious to know as I am not a technical person. Don't know the depth of these plugins but I like elementor so far. That's why asking why you prefer beaver builder over Elementor pro? @Skyslimits

Actually it's very easy to develop themes and plugins if you the concept of language, object-oriented, or even if you understand the concept of function you can develop WordPress as its build on actions and filters (hooks), simply the WordPress page goes into a life cycle and everything gets into an action so if you need to print a message you can a filter function to be added example to print a message before any code

To execute the code when page saving
  1. add_action("save_post", "publish_to_facebook");
  2. function publish_to_facebook( $post_id ){
  3. // You can add any code here and it will be executed when the user save s a post.
  4. }
in short very easy

Let me just teach you how to get a fish than give you a one you can go to youtube and search in there WordPress hooks or how to write an action

The best way I can recommend really I think this will definitely help many here my going google type what you want to download then add "zippyshare".

if none of those works I will upload a course for you and add it to download section for you. just let me know if you need still need it.

I recommend you learn digital marketing and how to make sales, there are many people they asked this same question and I know they give a wrong answer as its there secret and no one can tell you his secret but the only thing is the digital marketing has the answer for this, and I recommend you to build your brand by not being a tail, hope this can help.

There were iThemes pro comes you need to fully secure your WordPress by following all the configurations and by going to hide Hide Backend in the advanced section and by adding Two-Factor Authentication. Now if you don't have the pro version I can upload it for you in the downloads sections of you can use (All In One WP Security & Firewall) plugin which have to hide backend for free then adding another free plugin (Shield: Security, Scanning & Protection For All)

I got the same questions as my bro sunny aka @nichexposure

I am not against eliminator, in fact, my second option after beaver builder (bb) is the eliminator in my opinion best plugins for performance are:
Oxygen, bb, Eliminator, then VC so Eliminator adds a kind of a lot of garbage into the code that needs to optimized at some level so the client if he needs to use it he needs to call you each time to optimize his pages! that if you need super professional code and speed.

Eliminator at the end you need to purchase plugins to make it fully work to contain everything while bb builder they are direct by offering you to buy the plugin they have mostly all the important elements that needed for the web design.

bb can create full theming its more than a builder.

The best and great thing about bb tells one plugin if any exist other than bb if you uninstall the plugin the whole pages can work and perform normally as it exists this means a lot in the background of the process and the page speed if you know what I mean.

Again I am not again Eliminator till now I get forced to use VC with some projects as it's required and all the option are available and they all are great they have there ups and downs. and this is my opinion.

Thanks for the sincere help. By the way do you get more clients for making WordPress sites from templates or custom made theme with plugins?

Great question and you are welcome and happy to help everyone here.
I think this question would reveal many things...

okay.. custom made is more required as everyone crazy about uniqueness but actually when it comes to the cost all stand back as its custom made it need more work :anyway:

How do you determine a price to charge for your services, by pages or by a guess of what the client can afford perhaps?

I understand. I worked with VC as well. But I find it a little bit of complicated. I agreed that Elementor requires payment every year. But if you don't like to upgrade you still can use it. Function and design will keep working. I don't use BB yet so no idea how good it is but Elementor does provide lots of option. Anyways don't want to turn this thread into any specific plugin discussion. Thanks for your insight and keep sharing it.

how to make wordpress site 2x or more faster?
Okay to answer this question in a proper way we need to understand the page the content and ingredient of the page.

Page continues from HTML5 code, Javascript code, images, and media,
now if the HTML5 page is not compressed I mean remove the spaces and make it shorter it will take a longer time to load as it will bigger size and same as the script now some plugins and builder they add an unnessecary scripts in some pages but working with other pages this need to be removed to reduce the Requests I will explain the requests in the moments. Now I work with Wp Rocket as it's my favorite plugin for speed and caching. caching plugin creates a static version of your website and I prefer to use WP Rocket so you need to install and it has the options to compress the code and eliminate the scripts and CSS or load them.

Then there is something called https request this is how many files they need to be delivered within each page to the clients lets say someone in UK requests a page www.something.com from a server located in LA California and lets say each file of JS or CSS or image then need 100 milliseconds This is the time just to dial to send and receive if the files are larger then packets send and receives would take more time. if you have 10 files only you need at least 1 sec for only sending and receiving, in fact, each page has 100s or requests and it doesn't take 100 ms it's only an example. in short what I mean to say we need to combine those files and more we combine them the faster. WP Rocket can combine CSS and JS so we need to combine them within the whatever caching plugin that you are using. Now there are many plugins like VC would add many extra scripts that are not required this cause more request and more load to the server so you need to use a plugin like Gonzales to remove those extra none required js and CSS that are doing nothing. Also, you need to transfer the script files into the bottom so the most important content will load first before the script files. you can use for these Scripts To Footer plugin or any other alternatives.

One way to reduce the time cost of the request is using CDN (content delivery network) what make a version of the files and the site in paces all over the world or specific location to make the delivery of content near your request to reduce time...

The last thing is to compress the images many people are using high print images on their websites without they know that they must to make it for the web to reduce the size and make it smaller, so it's important to take a look at the resolution of the images that match the web so it can smaller. Image formats like JPEG 2000, JPEG XR, and WebP often provide better compression than PNG or JPEG, which means faster downloads and less data consumption.

need to write .httacess code to make long cache lifetime that can speed up repeat visits to your page.

Now there is the first part of the website that loads first we need to load this part and to lazy load the images that at the bottom by loading those images later this can be done from wp rocket.

And this is how you can make the website faster...

How do you determine a price to charge for your services, by pages or by a guess of what the client can afford perhaps?
I recommend you to check your client location then find competitors take the average also you need to put in mind the cost of everything you are using within the process including your time cost and efforts.

I found Eliminator easier than bb but the performance and the options bb provide was way better for the long run.
I am also with your side eliminator indeed easier.
At the end potato putato, all are same all they have ups and down...

Thanks for asking everyone let me know if there is anything mind and would be happy to help
