Anyone writing applications with Python and PyQT?

I'm extremely curious. Cross-platform with py2exe and py2app <3

I will be writing all of my apps in python. I'd love to reach out to those who have dabbled with this dev stack.

oh too bad, i only use python for one of my computer graphic proj but would love to hear about pyqt from others. is pyqt for menu or interface creation?

Yup and if you've been doing python for a while it's dead easy to learn! Just use QT Designer to create your layouts and then Python to connect the logic.

Yea, I had a look at this. Great if you're just using your programs for yourself, but the licensing issues if you want to sell the programs seemed a bit expensive/restrictive.

I think Nokia are developing an open-source alternative, but it's still in alpha

I'm learning Django atm, but thats web based rather then app based.

Still dead easy to learn, it makes java look like a giant pile of Justin Beiber Cabbage Poop.
