Anyone willing to share some working EDU profile sites?

Hi everyone, Im currently looking for some working EDU profile backlink opportunities.

I know a lot of the old lists floating around are outdated dead or no longer allow profile links, so Im mainly interested in sites that are still active and usable.

If anyone has a small list they are willing to share, I would really appreciate it. Happy to exchange resources as well if thats allowed.

i stopped chasing EDU profiles years ago and would not go back. For most niches they do nothing a normal contextual link doesn't do, the profile pages themselves rarely get crawled more than once, and the good ones get nuked within weeks of a list going public because everyone hits them at once. The "EDU is special" idea is a 2012 leftover. Google does not hand out a bonus for the TLD.

But the actual problem you've described is bigger than EDU, and it's worth solving properly. Any shared list dies for the same reason, the moment it is shared, hundreds of people post to the same targets, the sites either close registration or fill up with spam and get filtered. A list posted in a forum thread is already dead by the time you read it.

The way people who build at any volume solve this is a maintained verified list. Someone re-verifies the targets continuously and drops the dead ones, and you get the current version synced rather than a static file. i've run gsa link surge and ser verified lists for my tiers for a good while now, ser links too at points, each has its ups and downs but all of them will contain far more live targets than any EDU list anyone is going to paste here. Most of them have a few profile engines in there anyway if you really want that platform type.

If you only want a handful of EDU links for the look of it, fine, but I'd put the effort into a source of targets that doesn't die on you rather than another list that is dead in a fortnight.

For a new site, I’d focus on quality content and strong on-page SEO first, then build relevant backlinks gradually. Usually it takes a few months to see consistent organic traffic, so patience and consistency are key.

I used to chase EDU profile links too, but honestly most of the lists I've tried were either dead or completely spammed. I'd be more interested in finding a few genuine, relevant opportunities than creating profiles just because the domain ends in .edu.
