Anyone who affiliate for Amazon products?

Now I am starting a affiliate journey for following some experienceful senior members!
I built a website and not sure if I can use Amazon's products to affiliate on my site.
Since products of Amazon have short cookie period, I think this is hard to start with.
Any idea to start affiliate products for starters?
And plz share me your experience in first 1000 traffic.

I have a normal blogging website, and between my main blogs, I also add amazon affiliated blogs. Honestly, I just started doing that, so I have only accumulated 130 clicks, and the success rate is only 1%. Meaning, for every 100 clicks there is one purchase.
