How does this compare to xrumer in terms of learning curve, ongoing expenses and effectiveness?
sounds all the same as ubot etc. ur example in this thread seems so simple even with imacros that would be a nobrainer. what is the real advatage of this tool ?

No it doesn't allow you to compile your own exe, each person running the poster needs a licence as the macros are containted in non encrypted xml files.
Zennoposter is amazing though, so many features and the basic version is only $50 (i'm on the the standard one) I use it to automate all my twitter stuff and keep coming up with ideas to automate other things, it does have a pretty steep learning curve though and docs aren't to good.
The proxy function is fantastic though, allows you to harvest and filter from unlimited sources.
Can't you compile Ubot scripts and sell them as standalone apps? If so, that's almost like having your own software business.
Bought today, it's not easy to get a hold of and there near to zero instructions in english, beside a couple of videos and a few pages of Zenno's help.
It's also quite slow (I have the intermediate version).
