Looking to buy a basic plan for my money site. I already have a shared hosting plan with NameCheap. I'm not happy speed and uptime but still worth the money. Can anyone share feedback about this, please?

Thank You

I have been using different namcheap plans since two years ago with no mayor problems. Hosted several money sites. Support is ok. Security is average: just don’t use nulled or pirated themes. Price is great. I am planing to continue to use it and upgrade my plan according to my future needs.

Are you using this plan too?

Just get the job done, just host it on your shared hosting, no need to be perfection when you don't have a lot of traffics.

Yes shared hosting speed is average, several downtime each year but its cheap enough and consider everything, its worth.

I have been using their hosting for few years. It's a good service. No issues.

For me, it was very slow. Hosted one domain there for about 6 months. Have to move to other hosting because of slow server response. It is good to buy domains from them not hosting. Try the marketplace here there are many options for you. I have used a few hosting providers from here and except hostwinds every other hosting service has been decent for my websites.

not worth it. you dont even get an email server like cpanel and if your using your domain elsewhere its really a pain to connect the domain there

Have you tried this plan?

I have almost everything at namecheap. Started with easyWP basic, now I've got most of my domains on shared, but moneysite still on WP. Live support is really good, but slow. Depends who you got in line. I remeber I had some issues with speed at easyWP, also adsense slowed me down huge, you can't change .htaccess file if needed, also some other stuff. Also one big issue with the basic plan. You don't get free SSL. And all browsers consider your site insecure. Pain in the ass. I had to buy separate SSL and spend half day just to install in manually (I never did that before). Watch out for that. If you ask me now I would go with shared hosting and you have much more freedom, cpanel, free mail, free SSL and free CDN. You can also find really good sales occassionaly on namecheap.

would recommend their shared hosting at the same price with more accessibility to do what you like to your site than the limitations that come with wordpress hosting.

Better go with some other shared hosting like Hostinger, Bluehost, HostArmada, etc. From the reviews, I think Namecheap hosting is a nightmare. Most of the time, there is no difference whatsoever between shared hosting and WordPress hosting. It's just how companies are playing with words to make you pay more for the same service.

hostinger is trash with their setup fee, avoid them & bluehost is questionable. and there is a diff between shared & wp hosting, you can't add external scripts outside of the wp using wp hosting.

I was thinking of trying out Hostinger and some other shared hosting providers for setting up my PBN. I have compiled a little list and the above-mentioned hosts are only a few of them. I guess I won't be going with Hostinger after all. What do you mean that we cannot add external scripts outside WP using WP hosting?

That means we won't get Cpanel. just an admin dashboard. so you can't upload any files
