Anyone using virtual cards for Netflix, AWS or ad accounts?

Hey folks,
I’ve been managing several international subscription services lately (Netflix, AWS, ChatGPT, Adobe, even ad platforms like Meta and Google Ads). Some of them have started rejecting my usual virtual cards — especially when the issuing country doesn't match the account region.

I used to rely on Revolut and Wise, but recently I’ve noticed a higher rate of declines or sudden card blocks, especially with AWS and Facebook Ads.
A friend recommended trying Buvei virtual cards, and honestly, the experience has been much smoother. Here’s why:

✅ BINs are region-flexible — better success rate with region-locked platforms
✅ Easy control over limits (one-time or recurring), and merchant restrictions
✅ Admin dashboard is very user-friendly — you can freeze, cancel, or regenerate cards quickly
✅ Worked flawlessly with Netflix, ChatGPT Plus, and even Meta Ads

So far I’ve moved most of my key subscriptions to Buvei cards. It also keeps my main bank accounts safer from recurring billing issues or bans.

Curious — what virtual cards do you use? Any success/failure stories with international platforms? Let’s share.

Good to hear Buvei is working for you. Lately, I’ve had similar issues with Wise and Revolut too, especially on AWS and Meta.

I use virtual cards connected to my country's banks so that I don't have to pay automatically every month. I've never experienced the problems you mentioned. The reason I use a virtual card is because I want to pay for a month if I get service and don't use it the next month.

But I think that the services reduce the service adequacy compared to virtual cards.

I bought an aws ec2 with my motherboard and was given a 64cpu limit.

I bought an aws ec2 with my virtual card and was given a 5cpu limit.

I think this will work in the following years as Netflix will be given 1080P for a credit card and 720P for a virtual card. (Just a guess)
